Etimologia

Il nome deriva dal mweqgreco mwegmwewφὲρω, mwfafèro, cioè mwfqio porto, io apporto, e mwfgmwfwνίκη, mwganìke, cioè mwgqvittoria, trionfo; letteralmente mwggapportatrice di vittoria, di senso non noto.

Distribuzione

L'unica specie oggi nota di questo genere è stata rinvenuta nel mwhqCameruncite-ref-araneidae-1-0[1].

Tassonomia

Dal 1899 non sono stati esaminati altri esemplari, né sono state descritte mwjasottospecie al 2014cite-ref-araneidae-1-1[1].
